About Us
A community rooted in Islamic faith, cultural continuity, and service to our neighbors.
A welcoming community with a clear purpose
The Darul Quran Daycare & Learning Center is a Muslim organization based in Memphis, Tennessee. We exist to support an environment where worship, spiritual development, learning, and mutual care can grow together. A learning center is more than a building or a calendar of activities. It is a network of relationships: people who make time for one another, pass knowledge between generations, share responsibility, and offer a welcoming point of connection to those who are new.
Faith, identity, and belonging
For many families, faith and cultural identity are deeply connected. Maintaining that connection can require intention, especially when generations grow up in different circumstances or when families are navigating a new place. We value opportunities for people to learn, ask questions, preserve meaningful traditions, and develop a confident understanding of their religious practice. We also recognize that no community is uniform. People bring different experiences, abilities, ages, languages, and needs, and a healthy institution makes room for respectful participation.
A Quran learning center-centered approach to learning environment
Our central religious purpose is the operation and support of an Islamic center and Quran learning center. A Quran learning center can provide a place for prayer and reflection while also helping people build relationships and access learning. The most meaningful community spaces are welcoming, safe, and attentive to the responsibilities that come with serving the public. We aim to support a respectful environment shaped by good conduct, care for shared spaces, and consideration for neighbors.
Serving beyond our doors
Community life also includes practical needs. People may need reliable information, help finding local services, opportunities to volunteer, or a connection to others who understand their circumstances. We seek to strengthen these connections through thoughtful programs and partnerships. We do not present ourselves as a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or social-service professionals. Instead, we aim to help learners and families identify appropriate information and trusted resources when possible.
Stewardship and accountability
A charitable organization earns trust through consistency, clear communication, careful stewardship, and respect for the people it serves. Donations and volunteer time should be treated as responsibilities, not assumptions. We strive to communicate the purpose of our work honestly, use resources thoughtfully, and keep student participation centered on dignity and benefit. Questions about our learning programs and ways to support students, or organizational information are welcome through our contact page.

Our continuing responsibility
We know that trust is built over time through consistent conduct, thoughtful listening, and a willingness to learn. Our website is one way to make information easier to find, but meaningful educational work happens through relationships and follow-through. Please use the contact details provided on this website to begin a conversation. We will do our best to direct your inquiry appropriately and communicate honestly about the information or assistance available.
We also recognize that learning goals and family needs can change. A responsible organization reviews its activities, listens to the people affected by its decisions, and adjusts when circumstances require it. We intend to approach this work with humility, care for shared resources, and respect for the diverse experiences of people who live in Tennessee.
